Event Details

Situated in Kotahana, the temple was originally created by Sir Ponnambalam Muthaliyar and rebuilt by his son Sir Ponnambalam Ramanathan. The first Kumbavishagam was held in 1857. This temple is one of the prominent temples in Sri Lanka, with the main idol being Lord Shiva in lingam form.
